From 1995 to 2007, I served as lead attorney for the Alaska Legislature, where I advised and counseled leading legislators, administration officials and staff on complex legal and policy issues ranging from tax policy to Native law. I served as committee counsel, carried specific legislation and worked regularly with top state and federal officials.
I am a distinguished member of the Alaska Bar, a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law (1994) and an accredited author with the Arizona Law Review. I have received numerous awards and honors for my achievements as an attorney. I am admitted to practice before the Alaska Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court and the United States Supreme Court.
I have practiced in the private sector as a civil litigator and I served as a law clerk before the Honorable Judge Elaine Andrews. I have forged strong relationships with key offcials throughout Alaska and at the federal level. My professional and personal ties within local, state and federal governments serve as a tremendous resource in pursuit of my clients’ goals.
